If you want to apply for the “I’m a Survivor Scholarship,” you must first agree to these terms and conditions:
- Satisfy the eligibility requirements described in the Rules for Eligibility detailed on the “I’m a Survivor Scholarship”
- Submit the completed application form and essay by the scholarship deadline
- Agree not to hold The Cochran Firm – Nashville, LLC responsible for technical difficulties that result in your missing the entry deadline.
Selecting the Scholarship Recipient
The Cochran Firm – Nashville will designate a scholarship committee to review all the applications and essays they receive by the stated deadline. The recipient of the $2,500 “I’m a Survivor Scholarship,” will be the person who inspires the firm with their story and impresses with their drive to achieve their dreams, despite their challenges.
In considering your application, the scholarship committee may require additional information from you, and the firm reserves the right to contact you to request this information.
The Cochran Firm – Nashville does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, national origin, religion, or membership in any other protected category.
The scholarship committee’s decision regarding the recipient of this scholarship is final and not subject to debate.
Privacy Statement
The Cochran Firm – Nashville. LLC and its partners and /or subsidiaries will not sell, share, distribute, or use any information received in the application process for any purpose other than considering applicants for the “I’m a Survivor Scholarship.”
The Cochran Firm – Nashville maintains the right to publish the name, photo as well as the essay, of the scholarship winner. This content may be published in any of several media forms, including social media, websites, and press releases.
