Barbara has over 18 years’ experience in the legal field, with a focus on personal injury and insurance defense. She attended the University of Kentucky and has participated in continuing legal education courses throughout her career. She is a Certified Kentucky Paralegal and is currently pursuing a Paralegal Certification with the National Association of Legal Assistants. Her passion is to assist clients with compassion and guidance throughout the legal process.
Barbara is a Kentucky native having recently moved to the Nashville area to be near family. She believes it is important to contribute to the community. She was the coordinator for the Bullitt County Teen Court program in Kentucky for approximately nine years. This program trained local high school students to be an attorney, clerk, bailiff and to serve on the jury for the purpose of sentencing juvenile cases in the District Court. She enjoyed training the students that participated as well as encouraging juveniles by teaching that he or she could transform their lives. Barbara is an active member of the Louisville Association of Paralegals and Kentucky Paralegal Association serving as an officer on the board of directors and membership chair. When Barbara is not pursuing her dream of being a paralegal, she enjoys reading, cooking, music and spending time with family and friends. Of all of Barbara’s accomplishments, her greatest joy is being a mother and grandmother.
